On Sunday, June 25, Chelan County Mountain Rescue members and a Chelan County SAR Deputy recovered the body of Benjamin Gore (19) from Aasgard Pass. Gore disappeared into a crevasse on June 4 while glissading down Aasgard Pass. Initial attempts to locate Gore were unsuccessful due to the snow depth and fast running water. The body has been turned over to the Chelan County Coroner’s Office and the family has been notified. CCMR member Jeff Paton reports the body was found in the exact same location at the man who perished last year in the same area.
