Cascade Open Golf
The 2017 Cascade Open is a golf fundraiser for Cascade High School athletics. The fundraiser is being held on Friday, July 14 at the Leavenworth Golf Club. A four-person scramble is open to all. The shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $90 person, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, barbecue at Wild Huckleberry, prizes and raffle. Lake Wenatchee State Park summer programs
At 2 p.m. on Saturdays, July 8, July 29 and Aug. 26, the Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue Department will provide a Junior Ranger program featuring fire safety information, demonstrations and hands-on involvement with fire trucks, water supplies, firefighter gear and emergency vehicles. (e27,28)

Be Strong My Little Ones, families torn apart by new immigration laws features the art and poetry of Leavenworth artist Martha Flores from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at 18 N Mission St. in Wenatchee.
