Chiwawa Loop Road Phase III project

Just over a mile of roadway on Chiwawa Loop Road (milepost 3.4 to 4.6) will be closed for five days (July 24-28) so crews can replace a box culvert over Clear Creek. The current box culvert in place is a fish barrier. The new replacement culvert will provide passage for fish in Clear Creek. Work also includes stream restoration and habitat improvements as well as new guardrail along the roadway. Motorists should use Beaver Road and Chumstick Highway during the closure.
