Cascade advances in state tournament

The Cascade High boys soccer team advanced in the 1A Boys Soccer State Championship tournament after a 2-1 victory against Wahluke. 

The Kodiaks opened the game with a goal in the first half. Wahluke scored a goal in the second half to tie the game at one apiece at the end of regulation. 

During the second overtime period, Cascade scored a goal to clinch the win. 

The Kodiaks will host Lakeside in a quarterfinal match on May 18 at 2 p.m.
