Cascade boys fall to Omak

The Cascade High School boys basketball team began the tail-end of Caribou Trail League play on Jan. 29 with a 73-43 loss to Omak.

The Pioneers took a 21-11 lead in the first quarter. The Kodiaks offense added eight points in the second quarter to bring the scoring gap to 42-19 at the first half.

Cascade had their best offensive effort in the third quarter with 14 points, and added 10 in the final frame.

The Kodiaks play their final home contest of the regular season on Jan. 31 against Cashmere. Prior to the game, seniors Ethan Burpee, Conrad Hasse and Kurt Fraker will be honored for their contributions to the Kodiak basketball program.
