Cascade honors spring sports awards

Teammates and students filled the Cascade High School gym on June 3 for CHS' spring sports awards. During the ceremony, Athletic Director Dominique Coffin recognized the hard work and success the Kodiaks spring sports programs experienced during the season.

At the ceremony, Coffin and Assistant Principal Rudy Joya presented certificates to Cascade athletes who made the Caribou Trail League's All-League teams and acknowledged coaches who received "Coach of the Year" awards.

The CHS Equestrian Team was also recognized for winning the District One Team High Point Title as was the Kodiak Girls for being named the Academic State Champions. Several athletes also received Sportsmanship Awards. 

The following athletes received Sportsmanship Awards: Duncan Allen, Stella Johnson, Avery McKenney, Chandler Pulse Isabel Rodriguez, Chase Runions and Jose Valdez.
