Cascade wrestling off to state

Kodiak wrestler Manuel Camarena holds a rose given to him while saying farewell CHS Athletic Director Dominique Coffin and his fellow Cascade High students. Camarena, and 13 other Cascade wrestlers were given a sendoff before leaving for Tacoma to compete in the Mat Classic XXXI in the Tacoma Dome, Feb. 15-16. The number of athletes competing in this year's state championships is the largest in school history. 

The Kodiak mat squad also made stops at Icicle River Middle School and local elementary schools before leaving the area for Tacoma.
