Cascade's Young swims at Eastmont-Wenatchee meet

Cascade High School's James Young represented the Kodiaks at the swim meet between Eastmont and Wenatchee on Jan. 8. Young utilizes the Eastmont High School boys swim and dive team's coaches and facilities through the co-op between the two schools.

Young finished the 50-yard freestyle race in 24.12 seconds, and the 100 freestyle in 53.79, clocking in season best times in both events.

He also competed with Cashmere's Aster Dotson and Quincy's Wyatt van der Merwe and Jackson Calloway in the 200 medley relay. The team finished the event in 1:51.76.
