Leavenworth riders continue to represent

Cascade High School freshman Tobin Walker moved up to the Junior Sport category and placed first in Race Cascadia's Dirt Cup on Saturday at Post Canyon near Hood River, Oregon. 

CHS Sophomore Stella Johnson also continued her winning streak, placing first on Sunday, May 19 at the Roslyn Roundup, which was the third event in the Washington Student Cycling League's race series.

Meanwhile, Icicle River Middle School’s Icicle Bicycle team held on to their first-place team position, bringing the gold home for the third time in a row. Sixth-graders Jonas Johnson placed second and Caroline Menna placed third.

Seventh grader Isabel Menna placed first, and eighth-graders Olen Johnson placed first and Greer Swoboda placed fourth. 

Edie Walker, competing in Advanced Middle School Girls, placed fourth.
