Vote yes for the Fire Levy!

We have all come to live in the greater Leavenworth area for many different reasons, but our passion for community, caring for our neighbor, and our placement at the wild edge of the Cascade Mountains are things that unite us all. By voting Yes on Aug. 1, together, we can support our local Fire Department No. 3’s mission to be at the front lines protecting the people and lands we care so deeply about. 

Our local Department, on a tight and limited budget, continues to accomplish amazing and heroic acts for our community. However, as the workload has rapidly grown, more resources are needed to keep pace. Increases in the areas population as well as the expanded development of personal and commercial assets requiring protection have placed our Department on an unsustainable path. A successful levy would allow FD3 to continue to meet the critical needs for the future in part by providing staffing needed to ensure full 24/7 support, implementing needed fire prevention programs, updating equipment, providing high quality safety training, and allowing FD3 to be on sound footing financially. 

Voting YES for the FD3 Levy holds incredible value and gives all of us the chance to say thank you and lets our local district know how much we appreciate all that they do for us. We feel that FD3 has earned our trust and support and we ask that you join us on Aug. 1 to vote Yes!
