Craft Night for Teens

Have you tried painting with alcohol ink? This forgiving medium allows you to create and erase to your heart’s content. We’ll paint tiles that work great as coasters. Ages 12 and up.  Thursday, August 9, 4 p.m. at the Leavenworth Library. (e31,32).

Historical Walking Tours of Leavenworth

The Upper Valley Museum will be sponsoring a Downtown Historical Walking Tour on Saturday, August 11. The tour begins at Upper Valley Museum, 347 Division St. at 10 am.  The tour is 1-2 hours on sidewalks and is about 2 miles long. There is a donation fee $5. Everyone is encouraged to wear good walking shoes and bring water. Call 548-0728 for more information. (e31,32).

Blood Drive

Leavenworth Red Cross Blood Drive, sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be held at 10170 Titus Rd., Leavenworth, on Thursday, August 9, from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Upper Wenatchee Valley Pickleball Club

Free Clinic for beginning Pickleball players on Saturdays, August 18, and 25 at 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the District Office 225 Central Ave., Leavenworth on the tennis courts. Village Voices to Kick Off Season with Picnic for New Members

The Leavenworth Villages Voices (LVV) invites prospective and returning members to the fourth annual Season Opener Picnic on Monday, August 13, at Lions Club Park, Leavenworth from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  The LVV is a community choir that welcomes anyone who loves to sing and is committed to learning his/her music. Members will provide food and beverages (and guitar accompaniment for a sing-along!). Come on out if you want to learn more. Rehearsals start on August 20 and take place on Mondays from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at the Leavenworth Community United Methodist Church, 418 Evans Street.
