Everett Yuhas

Posted

Everett passed away at his home in Leavenworth, Washington with his loving wife at his side. His life was cut short by cancer, he was barely 62.

Everett was as a lineman for the Vineland, New Jersey, PUD. After 22 years he moved to Maui, Hawaii. There he met Pauline at Gold’s Gym. He was the big, buff, nice guy. Three years later, they moved to Leavenworth and built their dream home, “The Pirate House.”

Everett was a perfectionist in all that he did. His pride and passion was his yard and working on it. After years of labor, he transformed a field of wheat to an Eden worthy of Better Homes and Gardens. He could be seen every morning perfecting perfection on his meticulous landscaping.

Everett’s other passion was his wife Pauline. Rarely were they seen apart. They were totally dedicated to each other and profoundly in love.

Bigger than life, Everett was a man found in fiction. His personality was infectious. Fun, funny, engaging, caring and thoughtful. He was a rare gem, one of the good ones. He will be forever missed and remembered.

Everett is survived by his wife, Pauline, adored sister, Cindy Johnson, brother in law and “blood” brother, Richard Herzog, Pauline’s twin, Phyllis Radke, sister in law, Julie Newman, brother in law, Walter Goldstein and father in law, Allen Goldstein.

At Everett’s request there be no memorial services.
