Ned H. Kuch

Ned H. Kuch, 78, a lifelong resident of Leavenworth, died Friday June 30, 2017 at his home in Leavenworth following an extended illness.

Ned was born to Ted and Vera (Pershall) Kuch at Leavenworth where he was raised and educated, graduating from Leavenworth High School in 1956. Ned enlisted in the United States Army and after receiving his honorable discharge, returned to Leavenworth where he married Betty Davis on March 7, 1963. Ned worked at Blue Star Growers as a fork lift operator retiring in 2005.

Ned loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker, skier and fisherman. He especially loved time spent with family and friends in the mountains. One of his many other pleasures was spent watching the mountain goats he would see while camping in the high Cascades.

He is survived by his wife Betty of the family home; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Stephanie Kuch and a daughter, Lynda Nelson, all of Leavenworth; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Vera and a sister, Judy Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene at 111 Ski Hill Drive, Leavenworth.
