19th Annual Cascade Golf Classic Aimed for Great Success

Six hours of fun, $40,000 raised to enhance Cascade Medical’s care of our community.

 

That’s what the Marson & Marson Cascade Golf Classic on June 20th is all about. It’s the 19th annual, and it’s destined to be the best tournament yet.

 

We’re grateful for our close partnership with Kahler Mountain Club, who is hosting the tournament on their beautiful and challenging course and sponsoring the awards. In addition to Marson & Marson Lumber’s generous continued role as naming sponsor, we also want to acknowledge our longtime sponsors, Louws Truss, Inc. and Dan’s Food Market.

 

No matter whether you’re almost a scratch golfer with a low handicap, or you’re a dabbler who’s not sure what a handicap is, this tournament has something for you. 

 

“Thanks to the incredible generosity of our many sponsors, we have been able to make some notable enhancements,” said Cascade Medical Foundation’s golf co-chair, Rich Adamson. “We will be awarding some exciting, high value skill contest and team prizes, and have expanded the team awards to include 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place for both low gross and low net scores. 

 

“In addition, participants will enjoy both a bagged lunch during the round and a fantastic taco bar dinner after play is complete. Thanks to our hardworking golf committee and volunteers such as Stan Morgan, we have an exciting slate of contest and raffle prizes, and the entire event is extremely well organized. We are excited and ready to greet all our golfers on the 20th!”

 

Pre-tourney contests will determine the best at putting, chipping and the one who can drive a marshmallow farther than a few feet! On course, your team will enjoy hole-in-one opportunities, various contests, advantage holes and a round-robin (gopher) hole. To whet your whistle mid-game, enjoy tastings from local establishments, Milbrandt Vineyards and Doghaus Brewery, and grab something cold off the drink cart as it whizzes by.

 

We hope to showcase a small sampling of the many projects that CMF has funded over our thirty years of philanthropy. Look for the brand-new EMS e-bikes and the ambulance run by Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue (a close partner with Cascade Medical).

The roster of golf foursomes is filling up, but there might be room for your team.
