Grand Opening of Hotel Leavenworth

Posted

Seattle-based entrepreneur, Rob Ahrens, has officially opened the fully-rebranded and renovated, Hotel Leavenworth. Ahrens purchased the hotel previously known as the Bavarian Ritz in November 2022 and personally transformed the property into a modern, elevated-boutique, lodge-style hotel.

The renovations took six months and were done by Ahrens himself along with his cousin, and a small team of subcontractors. He redesigned and rebuilt every detail of the hotel, room-by-room, inch-by-inch, a true labor of love.

Ahrens, an avid and passionate river rafter himself, has been coming to Leavenworth for the past 30 years, so this was truly a dream come true for Rob and his family. “The hotel’s ideal location in the heart of this beloved town and community holds special significance for me and my family,” says Ahrens.

The 16-room Hotel Leavenworth is in an ideal, central location in downtown Leavenworth, and includes a large sun deck overlooking the Cascade Mountains and flowing Wenatchee River. It is pet-friendly, and offers a selection of rooms with jetted and jacuzzi tubs.

Ahrens also purchased the historic College Inn Hotel on the campus of the University of Washington several years ago, and did a similar renovation.
