Leavenworth Women's Exchange to host monthly luncheon meeting

LEAVENWORTH—The Leavenworth Women's Exchange (LWE) will hold its monthly luncheon meeting on Wednesday, May 8, at the Icicle Inn Restaurant, 505 Highway 2 in Leavenworth. The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. and feature local author Lynn Walker as the guest speaker.

Walker will present a program titled "Addiction and the Family: My Journey to Becoming an Award-Winning Author," sharing her personal experiences and insights. The cost of the luncheon is $26.50 per person, which includes a lunch buffet, beverage, tax, and gratuity.

Reservations for the event must be made by Thursday, May 2, by contacting Claire Burlingame at 509-548-7142. Payment can be made in cash or by check made out to LWE. Attendees are reminded that any cancelations after May 2 will be responsible for the cost of the lunch due to the catered nature of the event.
