Linda Louise Fromm Robertson

On December 4, 2023, Linda Louise Fromm Robertson, age 83, peacefully left this life and returned home to many waiting loved ones.

Linda was born July 11, 1940, in Leavenworth, WA, to James and Margarite (Peggy) Fromm. She died at her home in Leavenworth where she resided with her one-and-only love, Dayle Robertson.

Linda attended Quincy High School where she met Dayle, was a proud Jackrabbit cheerleader, and graduated in 1958. After high school she attended Ricks College, now BYU Idaho, for one year before she and Dayle married September 14, 1959, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

Once married, Linda and Dayle moved over 30 times throughout the northwest. While Dayle completed his college education and worked various ranching jobs, Linda raised their seven children all the while holding down various jobs. These included potato truck driver for Les Boyce, waitress for her Aunt Coral, office manager at many ranches, and probably her favorite job was owner/editor of the Battle Mountain Bugle newspaper in Nevada. After she and Dayle purchased the newspaper, Linda transformed it into a successful business by increasing circulation, employees, and never backing down from a controversial issue.

Being the oldest of seven children, Linda had many occasions to mentor, support, and love her younger siblings and she cherished each opportunity to do so. Her talents were innumerable, as was her ability to forgive and serve others. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various leadership callings within the women’s and young women’s organizations.

Survivors include Linda’s husband, Dayle Robertson, Leavenworth; son, Jim Robertson (Wendy Pond), Silver Spring, Maryland; daughters, Danielle (Dally) Taylor, Burns, Oregon; Marcia (Pete) Parrish, Leavenworth, Wash.; Robin Clemens, Farmington, Utah; brothers, Pat (Gloria) Fromm, Leavenworth, Wash.; Lance (Melissa) Fromm, Provo, Utah; sisters, Kathy Ward (Brent Peterson), Leavenworth, Wash.; Marcia (John) Dow, Escondido, Calif.; Cindy (David) Burnett, Wenatchee, Wash.; granddaughters, Lindsey Taylor, Josie Taylor, Rebecca Parrish; grandsons, Zane Taylor, Ty Taylor, Tristan Parrish, Tanner Parrish, Ledger Parrish, Cooper Clemens, Hagen Clemens, Rylie Clemens, Colton Clemens, Wilkens Kelly; great-grandkids, Kypton, Clancy, Callahan, Zachary; numerous nieces and nephews.
