The Foreigner comedy
Live theater is returning. On Aug. 12-14 River's Edge Productions and Icicle Creek Center for the Arts present The Foreigner, a hilarious comedy by Larry Shue and directed by S. Henry Hettick. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts website or by calling (509)-548-6347x1. Attendees should bring their own chair or blanket and picnics are welcome. 
 
The Chumstick Wildfire Stewardship Coalition
Fire Meeting and Workshops will be held on Friday, August 13, 5:30 p.m. at the Schmokers' Residence, Spromberg Canyon Meadows, 12250 Spromberg Canyon Road. https://spromberg.com/ Meeting and Workshop #2 will be on  Friday, August 27. 6 p.m.,  at Snowgrass Farm, 18287 Little Chumstick Creek Road.

Historical Walking Tour of Leavenworth
The Upper Valley Museum Guided Walk  Saturday Aug. 14  will be the RR and Mill Tour . We will meet at the Lions Club Park by swimming pool at 10 a.m.  There will be a donation of $5. We encourage everyone to take part and wear good walking shoes.  Find out about how the RR helped us become a town. Information call 548-0728.  
 
Leavenworth Village Voices Picnic
The Leavenworth Village Voices season opener picnic is Monday, August 16, 5:30 p.m. at the Lions Club Park in Leavenworth. The picnic is open to current members and all interested adult singers. If you can't make the picnic, the first rehearsal for Leavenworth Village Voices is August 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene, at 111 Ski Hill Drive. Peshastin Dryden Picnic Cancelled
