This training will be led by a former SWAT Team Leader from Pierce County and a nationally recognized expert in school and campus safety.  Because of the sensitive nature of the content, children will not be allowed to attend the evening session nor will there be child care provided.

Students in grades 6-12 will have assemblies with age appropriate information and training earlier this same day. Please contact your school office (middle & high school only) if you do NOT want your student to attend these assemblies on the morning of Sept 12th.

Sept 12th will also be an early release (NOT A LATE START) so staff may attend a similar customized training. More information is also available at all school office buildings, the school district website and the district office.
