Make a Difference Day Clean up
Camp Zanika Lache is Saturday, October 23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. We are in need of volunteers that can help us out away summer program areas and get camp ready for the winter. We have lots to do, put away waterfront, take down wall tents,gather and burn debris, rake leaves, fix cabin doors, plumbing, and much more. Please bring your gloves, rakes, chainsaws, loppers and any tools you think will come in handy. Lunch will be provided along with coffee in the morning. Join us for dinner and breakfast if you spend Saturday night with us.Lodging is available for anyone who would like to come up and spend the night on Friday and/or Saturday night.
The Greater Leavenworth Museum
On October 23, The Greater Leavenworth Museum invites you to the " Rake the Autumn Leaves" event at the old Leavenworth North Road Cemetery from 10-noon.

Light the Night Carnival Returns
The Nazarene Church in Leavenworth is once again holding the free Light the Night Community Carnival at 111 Ski Hill Drive on Sunday, October 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Free fun for the entire family including hot dogs, candy, popcorn, hot apple cider, music, games and the fire truck. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Costumes welcome. For information call the church office at 548.5292.

Is partnering with Humanities Washington to offer the live, virtual program Diamonds in the Rough: The Gentrification of Rural Washington.The free program will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 and held on the Zoom platform.
