Addresses wanted for those who are deployed
The Cashmere American Legion Auxiliary #64 is looking for addresses of deployed soldiers to send holiday care boxes. If anyone has a loved one deployed or knows of one who would appreciate a care package from home and would like to share their address, please leave at the Cashmere Post Office, or call Linda Ingraham, 509-679-0243. A collection box for donations of snack and  personal items will be at the post office through the first week in December.

Christmas Craft Bazaar
Join us for a fun day filled with lots of holiday crafts made by local crafters! November 26 at Alpine Lakes Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Christmas Craft Bazaar is located at the school at 500 Pine Street, in Leavenworth.


Fowl Play 5K Thanksgiving morning

$15 Adults-$10 K-12 and proceeds go to the CHS Tennis Team and Upper Valley MEND
This event has been held since 2014. We started with 50 participants and had 250 in 2021. There are runners from adults to children, strollers, and dogs, some even in costume.


Ponderosa Youth Theatre presents The Grinch
A Teacher Pays Teachers play. Join us for one of our three performances beginning Thursday,
December 1, 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 2, 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 3, 2 p.m.
The show will be held in Lake Wenatchee at Stonewater Gym,19537 Chiwawa Loop Road.

person cash donation at the door. Refreshments will be available following the

David Haire Art Show
November 22-December 30 will be at the Leavenworth Library on November 22-December 30. Growing up in Leavenworth, David spent a lot of time drawing instead of schoolwork.  During college and after he tried many other jobs, but finally landed back to drawing.  He now works as an independent illustrator. Stop by the Fireside Room in the Leavenworth Library to see the art of local David Haire.
