April in Leavenworth

Posted

Life is always entertaining in Leavenworth

Leavenworth is more than just picture postcard perfect. Besides its magnificent alpine setting and charming old world architecture the community works every day to make your visit an occasion to remember. That is why once you’ve experienced the magic you want to return. Friendly residents often dressed in Bavarian costume are always willing to teach you how to do the Chicken Dance or just give directions. Everything in downtown Leavenworth is close and Park Strasse (Front Street-all downtown streets have English and German names) in front of the Gazebo is the center of activities. Throughout the summer months there is often live music in the Gazebo. The street is usually crowded and is sometimes shut down during festival weekends. With the wide variety of events and educational experiences there is always something for every member of the family to enjoy. Activities begin to heat up in April and continue throughout the summer. the following schedule was planned as of press time but don’t forget to check our web site at Leavenworthecho.com for updates.
