The Chelan County Law Library

Dear Editor,

Many people are unaware of the Chelan County Law library located on the 5th floor of the courthouse. I would like to see if relocated to the 1st floor of the Wenatchee Library, making it more accessible to the public with legal needs and legal questions.

Also it would serve the tax paying public well to have it staffed with a part-time para-legal, not to give opinions or legal advice but to help direct people with legal needs to understand the laws and their rights. The public would not have to empty their pockets (security check) to enter this library. The 5th floor Law Library isn’t just for Law Enforcement.
