LETTER TO EDITOR

As the Texans shiver in darkness and angst over their state power grid leaving them in dire straits, I know my Christian friend’s thoughts and prayers go out to them.  Some would say we’re lucky to have our Chelan County P.U.D. and good firm power from our dams, but luck had nothing to do with it.  The forefathers of our Chelan County P.U.D. did due diligence in planning for our future electrical needs.  When outages happen, the line crews and staff at the Chelan County P.U.D. are on it.

You may thank a veteran for his or her service, or not talk about the American farmer with your mouth full, but a good word to our P.U.D. people for keeping the lights on couldn’t hurt.
