Alphorn enthusiasts have retreat in Leavenworth this past weekend.

Dr. Natalie Douglass Grana, a hornist and educator based in Chicago, Illinois, was one of the instructors for this year's Leavenworth Alphorn Retreat weekend. She is currently on faculty at Lake Forest College, and DePaul University in Chicago. She has played in backup ensembles for musicians such as Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and the Mannheim Steamroller.
