Local boy graduates basic training

United States Air Force Airman Brian C. James graduated from basic military training. He was located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas. James is the son of Leavenworth residents, Kellie and Todd James. He was a 2018 Cascade High School graduate.
    He completed an eight week program that included training in military discipline, physical fitness, basic warfare principles and Air Force core values. Completing basic training also helped James earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force, according to the press release.
