New Emergency Assistance Manager

Liz Hurtado, is the Upper Valley MEND'S new Emergency Assistance Program Manager. Liz will be helping people in crisis move toward stability and safety by helping with rent, mortgage and utility bills, and helping them access needed services in the Wenatchee Valley. 

Liz grew up in the Upper Valley and has a background in mental health and social service. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Washington and is on track to graduate with a master's in social work from Western New Mexico University. She is bilingual and able to provide emergency assistance to member of the community in both English and Spanish. In her downtime she enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing any outdoor related activity.
