Monica Noland passed away at her home in Peshastin on May 2, 2017 at the age of 59. She was born at Leavenworth, Washington on March 28, 1958 to Elmer and Laurel Ayers. She graduated from Peshastin Dryden High School in 1976 and married Edward Noland on June 24, 1978. Monica loved gardening, be it flowers or vegetables. She also loved preparing the fall harvest by drying or canning the vegetables and fruits. She was known to teach others her canning ways. She is survived by her husband Edward Noland; mother Laurel Ayers; daughter Fern Adkinson; grandchildren Benjamin and Brianna Adkinson and two brothers, Lloyd and Larry Ayers.  She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Ayers and her sister Jeni Lemons. 

A memorial service of commemoration to celebrate the life of Monica Noland will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Dryden Community Church in Dryden, Washington. Memorial contributions may be made and Monica’s name to The Bunker at 1250 N. Wenatchee Ave. Wenatchee, Washington 98801.
