Marson & Marson Cascade Golf Classic Returns

Cascade Medical Foundation (CMF) is proud to bring back the beloved 18^th Annual Marson & Marson Cascade Golf Classic on June 21^st after a year’s necessary hiatus. This marquee event brings together golfers from far and wide to compete on the greens and raise funds for CMF’s project. This year’s project is for Power-load cots and automatic CPR devices for all three Cascade Medical ambulances, a $120,000 goal.

New twists and fun await golfers this year. Kahler Glen is hosting on a challenging course that meanders by ponds and patches of woods. Contests, both before and during the tournament, give ace golfers a chance to win bragging rights and bottles of fine local wine.

At the same time, utilizing handicaps means the top podium spot is up for grabs for any team having a good day. If someone’s having a particularly good day, he or she could win a Subaru from Hole-in-One sponsor, Cascade Autocenter.

Between holes, there will be opportunities to see the ambulance safety equipment up close, and to get a tour of the brand-new Cascade Medical mobile clinic, which was purchased in large part due to CMF fundraising and grant writing. Not to mention a free wine tasting at one hole, cookies and lemonade at another, and a drink cart whizzing around; there’s really something for everyone.

Keeping an eye on the goal of fundraising, CMF will have a few select auction and raffle items available as well. With Leavenworth’s own alphorns heralding the start of the tournament, and an outdoor award ceremony wrapping it up, golfers and volunteers alike can know that the day will be full of good times for a great cause in a COVID safe way.

CMF has a large volunteer board, and everyone has put in dozens of hours preparing, and none more than Bob Adamson, the golf chair. “It’s going to be great. After what we’ve all gone through this past year, it’s time to have fun. Our sponsors have really come through, and lots of golfers have registered. We’re excited for possibly the best Cascade Golf Classic yet.”
