Ohme Gardens Reopening for 2021 Season

The Gardens will feature a new ticket office and other updates

Posted
WENATCHEE, WA- Ohme Gardens will kick off the 2021 season on Thursday, April 15 after being closed for the 2020 season. Last Spring after much deliberation, the Chelan County Commission along with Gardens Director, Jason Browning, cancelled the 2020 season in order to make renovations and revitalize the Gardens. All this on the heels of closures throughout the state due to the global pandemic.

This year on opening day, visitors will have the opportunity to see how the Gardens crew have been working to improve multiple parts of the Gardens, most notably the new ticket office. The staff has also revitalized signage, landscaping, and taken care of other maintenance projects that wouldn't have been scheduled without the time off. Ohme Gardens staff is ready to reveal how they made the most of the 2020 season cancellation.

“Last year was tough, but we saw an opportunity to make some changes to the Gardens that have made it better than ever,” says Jason Browning, Ohme Gardens Director. “Now we’re really looking forward to having everyone here to see it.”

The 2021 season opens on April 15 and runs through October 15, 2021.

At this time there are no events currently scheduled for the season. Look for future updates and details at www.ohmegardens.org
