Next Principal at Cascade High School

The CHS Principal hiring committee has unanimously recommended that Rudy Joya, current Interim Principal of Cascade High School, be the next Principal of Cascade High School. Rudy is also the Principal of Kodiak Virtual Academy and is the truancy board director for Cascade School District. Rudy Joya worked as the Assistant Principal of Cascade High School from 2017-2022. Previously, he served as a Dean of Students and math teacher at Wenatchee High School. Rudy has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Central Washington University, a Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University, and a principal certificate from Washington State University. As Rudy states, “It is my passion to serve students and be an advocate for them by building positive relationships and helping them both short and long term.”
