Author event: Kristen Joy Wilks

The Leavenworth Library will host author Kristen Joy Wilks in the children's area on Friday, May 31, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

“Come hear local author, Kristen Joy Wilks, read from her newest middle-grade book, Phooey Kerflooey, and talk about the real stories that inspired the fictional accounts in the book,” the event page states. “Aspiring writers will learn how to mine their own life experiences for story ideas, too.”
