LEAVENWORTH — Weidner Apartment Homes marked the opening of Autumn Haus Apartments on Sept. 9, a 368-unit development that company officials say will expand modern housing options in the popular Bavarian-themed destination.

Autumn Haus, located within walking distance of downtown in northeast Leavenworth, includes a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes. Unit sizes range from 492 to 1,835 square feet.

Each home features marble countertops, wood-style plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, tall ceilings and a private patio or balcony. “Autumn Haus Apartments … introduces much-needed modern housing options to one of Washington’s most in-demand resort destinations,” the company said in its announcement.

The development also includes resort-style amenities such as a fitness center, an entertainer’s clubhouse, outdoor pool with poolside lounge, and multiple pavilions with grilling stations and fire pits. Covered and personal garage parking are available, and the property is pet-friendly.

The location places residents near attractions such as the Leavenworth Adventure Park, Reindeer Farm and Ski Hill, and about a mile from downtown. U.S. Highway 2 access allows for a 30-minute drive to Wenatchee.

Weidner Apartment Homes is the sole owner and manager of Autumn Haus. Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Kirkland, the company manages properties in 13 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces.
