Camp Fire NCW seeks applicants for board openings

WENATCHEE — Camp Fire North Central Washington is seeking applicants to fill five openings on its Board of Directors for upcoming two-year terms.

The nonprofit said board members help guide the organization’s mission, support youth development programs and expand access to outdoor experiences across the region.

Camp Fire North Central Washington operates programs including Camp Zanika, a co-ed summer camp for children, and other youth opportunities throughout North Central Washington.

The organization said it is seeking community members interested in youth development and community service who can contribute several hours each month. Board members also assist with governance, fundraising and strategic planning.

Meetings are held by Zoom or in person.
