Cascade Medical names new Chief Operating Officer

LEAVENWORTH — Cascade Medical Center has named Glenn Adams as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

“I’m excited to be part of this team,” Adams said. “I’ve worked alongside Cascade for years, and joining in this role is an honor. I care about supporting strong teams, because when staff are supported and equipped, they provide better care for the people we serve.”

With a background in pharmacy and healthcare operations, Adams has spent more than 25 years serving patients and healthcare organizations throughout the region. He has previously partnered with Cascade Medical during earlier periods of change,  including efforts around medication takeback programs and pharmacy services.

“He is a strong fit for what we need right now,” Blake said. “He understands operations and the regional picture and how it all connects. His background as a pharmacist brings an important care perspective. He is humble and down to earth, and he focuses on the work and the people doing it.”

Blake described Adams as a collaborative leader with an ability to build strong relationships across teams and departments. She added that his mix of experience, leadership community understanding makes him a strong addition to the Cascade team.

“We have a lot ahead of us, growth, new opportunities, and important decisions about how we best serve our community into the future,” Blake said. “I’m grateful Glenn is here. He has the ability to move things forward while keeping people at the center.”
