City Art Gallery

As a retired custodian of the Cascade School District, I want to compliment Ann Crosby for her letter of September 22. For years my janitorial duties included cleaning the CHS art room. Many times I emptied art works into the CHS dumpster that I thought were quite good. If a small portion of the Osborn building complex could be set aside for a City Gallery it would give Leavenworth artists a venue to show their talents. When a young artist gets a chance to show or make a sale it can only bolster self-esteem and contribute to Leavenworth culture. I hope Leavenworth City government won’t trash this opportunity.
