Free Concert

Cascade Mountain Bible Church, 11025 Chumstick Hwy, is having a night of Southern Gospel music performed by the Keepers of the Faith this Friday, March 31, at 6:15 pm. Everyone welcome.  No fee. Just come and worship with us.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Lions Club Easter

 Hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 9  at 1 p.m at Alpine Lakes Elementary School. The free hunt is open to children ages 1 to 12.

NCW Library events

From March to April 21, you can see the art of Michelle Bartholomew at the Leavenworth Library. Michelle is a local artist and quilter whose quilts have been featured in many quilting books and magazines. She specializes in a technique called EPP, English Paper Piecing, but enjoys quilting on her sewing machine as well. She is passionate about creating modern, colorful geometric quilts. Please stop by during the library’s regular hours to see the art show in the Fireside room.

NCW Libraries Offers Spring Breathing Program

Is offering a virtual, four-week wellness series with meditation instructor Shubhada Dantale in April. Learn about the nature of the mind and how to manage emotions in these guided relaxation sessions. Each 45-minute virtual session will include a guided relaxation through breathing techniques followed by guided meditation to experience stillness. No prior experience is needed. Feel free to join for one or all four sessions. Spring Breathing is being offered on April 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 5 p.m. Register at www.ncwlibraries.org on the Events Calendar and get the Zoom link. Shubhada Dantale is a certified yoga and meditation instructor living in Moses Lake.

The Leavenworth Women’s Exchange

The luncheon meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at Noon at the Icicle  Inn Restaurant, 505 Highway 2.  The cost is $23 per person.  Lunch buffet, beverage, tax, and gratuity are included.  Matt Cade, Upper Valley Historical Society board president, will present a program titled “Greater Leavenworth Museum:  A Museum on the Move”.  Check or cash to LWE only.  Since this is a catered event, any cancelations after April 6,  will be responsible for the cost of the lunch. Cashmere Rotary Auction

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 1 for this year’s annual Cashmere Rotary Auction. The ticketed event is open by admission for $35 with tickets available from Doane’s Valley Pharmacy, Cashmere Rotarians, or at the door. Join us from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Chelan County Fairgrounds event center at 5700 Wescott Drive in Cashmere for the annual fundraising event including dinner, drinks, and a live and silent auction. Come see and or contribute to the benefits Cashmere Rotary has in our community.
