John Charles Boswell

In Loving Memory of John Boswell

Heaven got a little rowdier and a lot more country when John walked through the gates on July 25th, 2026.

John was born on June 25th, 1956 in Everett, Washington, to Wilbur and Kathryn Boswell. He met his soulmate Karen in 1975. They lived in Snohomish for many years, raising their sons Marty and Scott and daughter Nikki. After Karen passed unexpectedly in 2003, John moved over the mountains. He spent many happy years at Sun Cove on the Columbia River before eventually settling on Beecher Hill outside Peshastin.

John passed away just one month after his 70th birthday, surrounded by his family - exactly where he wanted to be. He is survived by his brother George, sister Vicki (Terry), sons Marty (Cheryl), and Scott (Keri), daughter Nikki, grandsons Zach (Kaylie) and Tanner, nephews Matthew (Carly), Danny, Jeremy, and Rubin, and great-nephews Jamison, Cameron, and Theodore. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen, his parents Wilbur and Kathryn, his brother Paul, and many good friends.

John’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 12th, from 1pm - 4pm at Helios Ballroom, 213 Avenue D, Snohomish, WA.

In true John fashion, this will be a celebration, not a funeral, so everyone is welcome to come have a good time and wear their favorite plaid shirt or drinking attire, as John always did.

Come raise “one for the ditch,” share a memory, and celebrate a man who lived life to the fullest and fought until the very end. John would have it no other way.
