Posted

LEAVENWORTH — The City of Leavenworth is accepting applications for the 2026 Leavenworth Fund Program, which provides financial support to local nonprofit organizations and community projects that enhance quality of life and contribute to the city’s Bavarian-themed identity.

A total of $175,000 is available for distribution, with $50,000 allocated from the Leavenworth General Fund and $125,000 from the Lodging Tax Fund. General Fund grants are intended for projects that benefit residents through support for the arts, education, culture, public spaces, community health, and underserved populations. Lodging Tax Fund grants support projects that attract visitors, increase overnight stays, boost retail activity, and generate tourism-related economic benefits.

This year’s program introduces an online grant management system designed to streamline the application, tracking, and reimbursement process.

Applications are due by Sept. 3. Full guidelines, eligibility criteria, and the application portal are available at cityofleavenworth.com/community/leavenworth-fund.

Questions about the program or application process can be directed to Courtney Porter, Executive Assistant, at (509) 548-5275 ext. 127 or cporter@cityofleavenworth.com.
