Leavenworth resident becomes Chelan PUD VP

Already an active member of Chelan PUD, currently serving as board secretary, Commissioner Steve McKenna will serve as vice president in 2019. He will take on his new role officially January 7, 2019. McKenna has been on the PUD board since 2017 under a four year term, according to a Chelan County PUD press release. McKenna is a retired educator - well known for being the Cascade School District superintendent prior to Bill Motsenbocker taking over - and has resided in Leavenworth for several years. Good samaritan in the form of being fluid in multiple entities to provide to the public such as Rotary clubs and Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce before settling into his position as Commissioner.
