Leavenworth Village Voices to host annual season opener picnic

LEAVENWORTH — The Leavenworth Village Voices (LVV) community choir will host its annual Season Opener Picnic at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Lions Club Park in Leavenworth.

The event marks the start of the choir’s new season and will bring together returning members while welcoming prospective singers interested in joining. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet choir members, learn about the upcoming season’s repertoire and performance schedule, and receive information about rehearsals.

Known for its annual holiday concerts, the LVV is open to singers of varying experience levels. The picnic is intended as an informal gathering to foster camaraderie and provide newcomers with an introduction to the group’s activities.

The Leavenworth Village Voices rehearse weekly and perform multiple concerts throughout the year, with a primary focus on the holiday season. The group encourages anyone interested in choral singing to attend the picnic and consider joining for the upcoming season.
