Leavenworth Women's Exchange to host Deputy Fire Chief at April luncheon

LEAVENWORTH - The Leavenworth Women's Exchange will hold its monthly luncheon meeting on Wednesday, April 9, featuring Chelan County Fire District #3 Deputy Chief Mike Smith as the guest speaker.

The event will begin at noon at the Icicle Inn Restaurant, located at 505 Highway 2 in Leavenworth. Smith will present a program titled "Living in Fire Country: How to Help Your Neighbors," addressing wildfire preparedness in the region.

The luncheon costs $28.50 per person, which includes a lunch buffet, beverage, tax, and gratuity. Payment must be made by check to LWE or exact cash amount.

Reservations are required by Wednesday, April 1, and can be made by contacting Claire Burlingame at 509-548-7142. Organizers note that because this is a catered event, cancellations after April 1st will still be responsible for the cost of the lunch.
