Link Transit holds Kid’s Day at Columbia Station on June 14

WENATCHEE — Link Transit is holding its inaugural Kids’ Day, a special event celebrating families and young riders as part of June’s “Ride Transit” Month. This free afternoon event will take place at Columbia Station on June 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What to Expect:

  • Mascot Fun: Meet Chip the Duck, Link Transit's mascot, along with special guests Walt the Wolf from the Wenatchee Wild, Coyote from the Wenatchee Applesox, and Rocky the Ram from Chelan PUD. These mascots will be riding the bus with families and kids.
  • Activities & Refreshments: There will be games, interactive activities and complimentary refreshments.
  • Prizes & Learning: Kids can win prizes and giveaways, and everyone can learn more about riding the bus and Link Transit's family-friendly services.

Kid's Day is a perfect way for both new and experienced young riders to explore their local transit system in a friendly and exciting environment. Link Transit looks forward to seeing you at Columbia Station for an afternoon of community fun, laughter, and learning, all in pursuit of increasing ridership of public transit.
