WENATCHEE - Link Transit is inviting the public to take a behind-the-scenes look at its cutting-edge maintenance facility and industry-leading electrification program during an open house event on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event, which will be held at Link Transit's facility located at 2700 Euclid Avenue in Wenatchee, will feature guided tours, interactive displays, and opportunities for attendees to engage with the transit agency's team of professionals. Guests will be treated to transportation-themed mocktails and small bites while learning about the advanced technology and processes that keep the transit system operating at peak performance.
"We are thrilled to open our doors to the community and showcase the remarkable work our team does to enhance and innovate public transit in our region," said Link CEO Nick Covey. "This open house is a unique opportunity for residents to gain insights into our operations and contribute their ideas for further improving their transit system."
Link Transit's planning and development team will be on hand to gather valuable input from attendees to aid in future planning efforts. They will also share information about upcoming service improvements and capital projects designed to benefit both residents and visitors to the area.
