Local photographer Reed Carlson featured in Leavenworth Library art show

LEAVENWORTH – An art exhibition featuring the work of local photographer Reed Carlson will be on display at the Leavenworth Library from Jan. 27 through March 6.

The exhibit will be shown in the library’s Fireside Room and will highlight Carlson’s photography from across the Pacific Northwest. Carlson has spent more than 50 years photographing the region’s natural light while living in Holden Village, Seattle and Leavenworth.

For the past decade, Carlson has taught photography as part of the Wenatchee High School program.

The current exhibition focuses on Carlson’s recent work in black-and-white pinhole photography, created using a handmade camera. The show is open to the public during regular library hours.
