CASHMERE — A 44-year-old East Wenatchee man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance early March 21 in the Nahahum Canyon area, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call in the 9000 block of Nahahum Canyon Road, where the suspect, identified as Kent D. Christensen, allegedly entered a residence without permission around 3 a.m. in search of a woman with whom he had a prior relationship, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Authorities said the woman was in a bedroom when Christensen confronted her, leading to an argument. The landlord, who was present at the residence, confronted Christensen and was able to get him to leave, the release stated.
Following an investigation, deputies established probable cause to arrest Christensen on suspicion of first-degree burglary and felony stalking, according to the sheriff’s office.
Christensen was later located at his residence in East Wenatchee, arrested and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center, authorities said.
