Meet the Mayor for a Coffee or a Pint

LEAVENWORTH – The City of Leavenworth’s ongoing “Meet the Mayor” series provides an opportunity for residents looking for an informal way to connect with local leadership. Designed to foster conversation and strengthen community connections, the casual gatherings alternate between morning coffee meetups and evening pints at local businesses throughout Leavenworth.

Community members are invited to purchase their own beverage and join Mayor Carl Florea for conversion about local issues, upcoming projects and life in the community. The series also aims to support local businesses with making city leadership more accessible to residents.

August meetups include pint gatherings at 5 p.m. at Bushel and Bee July 6 and Icicle Brewing July 20, and coffee gatherings at 8 a.m. at Little Red’s Espresso July 13 and Argonaut Coffee and Biscuits July 27.
