New collective aims to boost visibility and support for healing arts professionals in NCW

NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON — A new regional initiative aimed at increasing visibility, support and collaboration for local healing arts professionals has launched in North Central Washington.

The NCW Healing Arts Collective is bringing together healing and creative professionals — from healing artists, therapists and bodyworkers, to musicians, teachers or creative guides — to share resources, promote their work, and build community across the Wenatchee and Leavenworth areas.

“Our valley is overflowing with gifted practitioners who have been doing beautiful holistic work but scattered,” said founder Alicia Clair. “The Collective is about weaving those threads together so that healing becomes more visible, accessible, and supported across the region.”

The NCW Healing Arts Collective was created in part to help practitioners “grow their presence with intention,” realizing that standard marketing tools and small business advice wasn’t aligning with work that was rooted in intuition, rhythm and relationships. It aims to increase visibility in a way that mirrors their connection-driven work, while also providing a practical, online presence.

It operates on seven principles: holistic healing, connection to the sacred, respecting earth, ancestors, and future generations, community in practice, creativity as a sacred current, devotion to growth, and belief in magic and mystery.

The NCW Healing Arts Collective works in two-fold: building a network of practitioners, while helping NCW residents find the right kind of support, wellness, community and healing.

The Collective’s website acts as a resource hub, where community members can browse a directory of local healing arts professionals and view upcoming workshops and events. It also takes it a step further, providing guidance on choosing the right healer, sharing blog stories that highlight the wisdom and offerings of each member, and shining a light on different focus areas such as sound, movement, mind, energy, body, and art.

By gathering practitioners under one umbrella, the NCW Healing Arts Collective hopes to reduce barriers for those seeking support, streamline access to services, and strengthen relationships between providers who often work independently across the valley.

The NCW Healing Arts Collective celebrated its official launch in November, bringing together over 20 healing and creative professionals from across North Central Washington to commemorate the event. The evening signified the first step in what Clair describes “as a cultural movement rooted in healing, creativity, and mutual support.”

This month, NCW Healing Arts Collective launched its website and resource hub, ncwhealingarts.com. The initiative is marking the milestone with a ‘Weekly Wellness Giveaway’ set to continue throughout the winter season. Each week, one subscriber — who follows their social media and signs up for the email newsletter — will be selected to receive a free service or gift, donated by a member.

“It is our way of introducing the region to the incredible healers who call this place home,” said Clair. “Healing is already happening here; we are just creating a space to see and celebrate it.”
