OPENING FOR CITY OF LEAVENWORTH PLANNING COMMISSION The City of Leavenworth is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on the Leavenworth Planning Commission, Position No. 1 previously held by Janessa Ruckle. The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council providing recommendations for long-range planning and code amendments on topics related to housing, transportation, shorelines and more. The Planning Commission meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers. Interested parties who meet the qualifications are invited to submit a letter of interest via email, mail or in person to City Clerk Andrea Fischer at Leavenworth City Hall (700 US Hwy. 2 | PO Box 287) by 4:00 PM on January 10, 2025. Per LMC, all qualified applicants must reside within the City limits, own property within the City limits or Urban Growth Area (UGA).
