School supply drive scheduled to support Cascade School District students

LEAVENWORTH — The Leavenworth Methodist Church will host a school supply drive on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. at 418 Evans Street to benefit students in the Cascade School District.

The event is organized as a drive-by drop-off, allowing community members to contribute supplies without leaving their vehicles. Donations of all types of school supplies are being accepted, including crayons, pencils, pens, notebooks, calculators, glue, glue sticks, paper and colored pencils.

“Let’s support the children in our district as they start a new school year,” organizers said in a statement.

All collected items will be distributed to students in need across the district ahead of the first day of school.
